Hello Again

Standard

Hello, world. It has been too long.

The last time I was here, typing away on a clickity clackity keyboard, I was 18 and had just started my foundation year of university. I vowed to post more often, and – like all other best-laid plans – that went down the drain as more and more assignments came flooding in, demanding my undivided attention.

I’m now 21 and in my second year of my three-year course at university. So, not much older, then, and likely not very much wiser, either. But there is one aspect of me that has become a little smarter – no more blog post promises! I aim to post every two weeks but I’m not going to make it a definite schedule, so I don’t beat myself up over missing a self-imposed deadline. Thanks to assignments and my freelance writing work, I can’t always guarantee when I’ll be posting; just know that I will be posting, eventually! (I’m not entirely certain that this is an improvement, but let’s just roll with it.)

I doubt I had any serious followers back then, but if I did and you happen to be one of them, hi! Welcome back! And thank you for following me through my juvenile adventures. You may have noticed that I’ve deleted most of my old blog posts. I promise, not much has changed. I’m still going to be talking about my juvenile adventures. (Improvement? Who’s she?) I just want to start on a slightly cleaner slate, with a blog that is relatively-up-to-date with who I am as a person today.

I’m not sure what I’ll be posting here yet. Short stories? Snippets of creative writing pieces I’ve worked on? Regular old blog posts and life updates? Poems? A mix of everything? Who knows! But there’s beauty in the unknown, isn’t there?

Cheers!
